Walking down 49th after work, on the phone with a friend and the sidewalk starts to fill with people at a standstill. Bright lights and a blocked off street means something is probably being filmed.
I give my friend the play by play and then a guy behind me who is also on the phone says - Everyone is stopping because the Sex and the City Movie is being filmed right now.
What?! I'm now in front of the NBC Studios and I look across the street towards Christie's and there the ladies are - minus Samantha, skinnier than all get out and although I wanted to snap a pic a security guard was making sure the crowd moved along.
I applied to be an extra for the movie but knew my chances were slim since they had an open call and I wasn't able to go, I just submitted. They film into October yet so I guess ya never know what may happen between now and then.
Wondering where else they may show up to film....
